Meet the new Youngstown Reservations Manager

Sharing is caring!

Caitlin McCown joins the Youngtown staff after having completed her Caitlin McCownM.A. in Theatre Arts at CSU, Los Angeles.  A Wisconsin native, Caitlin has spent the last ten years working in arts administration while cultivating her own work as a theatre artist.  She has worked with theatres, museums, and other non-profits, and is quickly finding ways to put her skills and experience to use at Youngstown.

“I am thrilled to be working with the wonderful people here at Youngstown,” says Caitlin. “I have a passion for creating access to the arts, and believe that the mission of the Youngtown Cultural Arts Center aligns perfectly with that passion.”

She continues, “The staff and tenants have been very welcoming as I continue to learn new names and faces—I already feel at home and look forward to meeting the rest of the Youngstown community! I am eager to help Youngstown and DNDA continue to grow, both in programming and capacity, build relationships within the community, and be a positive force for arts advocacy in the Delridge neighborhood.”

David Bestock, Youngstown’s Director, adds, “Caitlin brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for the arts. She is smart, creative and a great addition to the team. I encourage everyone to stop in at the Youngstown main office and say hi!”
