Her bubbly smile and positive attitude are contagious. When you meet her, you’ll know exactly what we mean. Carol R. Williams is the newest member of the Nature Consortium team. She brings more than 20 years of experience working with youth, young adults, and teachers in arts education and job readiness programs. Her list of accolades and accomplishments is miles long.

As the new Arts Education Manager, Carol will oversee all aspects of the EcoARTS Program, from designing curriculum and hiring teachers to deepening relationships with the communities we serve. One of her first major projects will be developing a job readiness internship for teens in the Seattle Housing Authority community this coming school year.

Not only is Carol a great arts administrator, she’s also an artist herself. Her work promotes cultural awareness through symbolic images found in all cultures, all while utilizing images of native Pacific Northwest trees. She is very excited to work within diverse communities and inspire youth of color to pursue the arts. She is deeply passionate about giving back to communities, and believes the arts can help train the leaders of the future.

Carol was raised in both Germany and Tacoma, WA. She enjoys hanging out with her son, 24 years old, and daughter, 12 years old, going for walks and being out in nature.
