About the Event
Join DNDA’s Nature and Art teams for this special event focusing on bringing beauty to Roxhill Park!
This heavily-used park in South Delridge is important as a community space for the neighborhood and for its ecological role as the headwaters to Longfellow Creek!
We’ll be boosting both functions at this hybrid event. Participants will join our Nature team for some beautification efforts, including trash pickup and cutting back shrubs growing into the trails. After that, we’ll join DNDA’s Teaching Artists for a fun, hands-on art activity at the main park entrance!
This event is open to participants of all ages, and accommodations can be made for young children.
What to bring:
- Please dress appropriately with long pants, warm and dry layers and closed-toed shoes
- Bring any water you might want
- Signed youth waiver form, if under 18
