Forest Restoration at 29th Ave Pocket Forest — EVENT FULL

NOTE: This event will be meeting at Greg Davis Park (26th Ave SW and SW Brandon St) and walking to the project area at 29th Ave SW and SW Brandon St. 

Update 1.30.2026: This event is full and cannot accept more volunteers. 

You and your fellow volunteers will participate in fun, hands-on forest restoration work led by DNDA’s Nature team. Restoration work includes removing invasive plants, planting native species, and mulching new plantings. Specific activities depend on the time of year and restoration progress at each site.

What to bring:

• Please dress appropriately with long pants, warm and dry layers, closed-toed shoes and rain gear as needed. We work rain or shine!
• Bring any water you might want during the volunteer event
• If you have your own pair of work gloves, feel free to bring them. If not, we will have plenty
• Signed youth waiver form, if under 18
