DNDA ArtPlus New Class: Bookmaking!!

Sharing is caring!

DNDA Artplus’s mission is to provide free, accessible art spaces and activities to the West Seattle community and beyond. After a meaningful 2025, where our Watercolor class and Open Studio evolved from just weekly programs into true third spaces, our community has continued to build connection, belonging, and their artistic skills at DNDA. None of this would be possible without the people who attend our programs, volunteer, partner with us, donate, or share their talents to help give back.

As we look to 2026, we’re excited to expand those opportunities. One of our newest offerings is a Bookmaking Class.

When: Thursdays, 6:00 pm–8:00 pm.

Where: Youngstown Room 102.

Cost: Free and open to all.

Bookmaking is where you can slow down, connect with others, and immerse yourself in the beauty of creativity. Teaching Artist Nanny Scherer brings more than 20 years of artistic experience and a deep commitment to making art accessible for all ages. While the class is open to everyone, projects and pacing are especially well suited to an older adult audience and anyone who prefers a calm, self-directed environment. With materials provided and Nanny’s guidance, anyone can make a beautiful keepsake or a meaningful gift.
