Join us in partnering with United Way of King County for our 2020 MLK Day of Service Event. You and your fellow volunteers will participate in fun, hands-on conservation work led by staff from DNDA’s Nature Consortium program at Pigeon Point in the West Duwamish Greenbelt. Work may include removing invasive plants, planting native species, and mulching new plantings.

This day will be accompanied by live musicians, bringing the arts and nature together for our enjoyment! We will also provide pizza at the end to celebrate everyone’s hard work.

What to Bring: Please dress appropriately with long pants, warm and dry layers, closed-toed shoes and rain gear as needed. We provide gloves, tools, a light granola bar snack (feel free to bring a lunch) and a jug of water. Please bring a refillable water bottle.

What we provide: tools, gloves, training and safety talk, water and granola bars
