Wetland Volunteer Event

Join our work-in-progress at Delridge Wetland Park, a DNDA project to restore a natural wetland and teaching space on the site of an old Seattle City Light substation. You and your fellow volunteers will participate in fun, hands-on conservation work led by staff from our Restoration team. Depending on the time of year, our work may include removing invasive plants, planting native species, and mulching new plantings. Our work parties are often accompanied by live musicians, bringing the arts and nature together for our enjoyment!

What to Bring: Please dress appropriately with long pants, warm and dry layers, closed-toed shoes and rain gear as needed. We provide gloves, tools, a light granola bar snack (feel free to bring a lunch) and a jug of water. Please bring a refillable water bottle.

What we provide: tools, gloves, training and safety talk, water and granola bars
