Arts in Nature Festival

DNDA proudly presents the 19th Annual Arts in Nature Festival at Camp Long in West Seattle!

We’re centering art, nature, and neighborhood for this two-day must-see event and have asked artists to play with the concept of Convergence, encouraging artists and audience members to engage in active participation with each other, other art disciplines, and with the natural 68-acre landscape of Camp Long.

You’ll find multiple intimate but spectacular outdoor performance spaces, weekend-long installations in eight rustic cabins, dance, music, video, sculpture, photography, puppetry, poets/writers, inter-, post-, and transdisciplinary practices, educational works, traditional arts & crafts, durational works, and more. There will also be hands-on art and nature activities for youth and adults, and tours of the winding hiking trails through the great outdoors. You can even create your own works of art by participating in multiple art activities, plus writing workshops and open mics, a marimba workshop, Native American storytelling, costumed hikes through the forest, and naturalist events!

If you get hungry we’ll have a convoy of food trucks and a beer garden where you can wet your whistle!
