Today a group of toddlers came out and helped to plant several 1-gallon potted Salal in the West Duwamish Greenbelt. Assisted by their parents, they learned how to plant and water our little native friends. These plants are close in age with these little ones and as they grow up, the Salal they planted will grow too. It will be interesting to see which of the two gets taller first!
