This past Sunday, December 3rd, 2017. DNDA, tenant organizations, 20 Cooper School alumni, and over 150 community members gathered to celebrate the history of the formerly Frank B. Cooper Elementary School, now the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, and its legacy in the past 100 years. Over the years, we have witnessed the opportunities at Youngstown in enabling artistic, creative, and transformative potentials in Delridge youth and community.
On December 3rd, we also witnessed outpouring support in the work that Youngstown and DNDA do. We witnessed supports for our mission, for integrating art, nature, and neighborhood to build and sustain a dynamic Delridge. And with that, our goal is 100 donations of $100, to celebrate the 100 years of historic legacy of Youngstown.
We are 60% there. If you haven’t done so, please lend us your support so kids can have a richer opportunities to build their future.
Here are a few recaps of the event!
