Shannon Woodard (she/her) is serving as DNDA’s Interim Executive Director and has been part of the DNDA community for over a decade, including several years as Board President. In this role, she is helping guide the organization through a period of transition with a focus on strengthening operations, stabilizing finances, and deepening connection across staff, board, and community.
Shannon brings over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting and 10 years of deep experience in affordable housing. Most recently, she served as Vice President and Senior Asset Manager at R4 Capital, where she oversaw the financial and operational performance of affordable housing investments. She is also a founding member of the West Seattle Public Schools Equity Fund and has served on the DNDA Board of Directors for 10 years. Her financial expertise, longstanding commitment to DNDA, and dedication to the Delridge community position her well to lead during this time.
Shannon’s commitment to this work is both professional and personal. As a former single parent, she experienced firsthand the impact that stable housing can have on a family, an experience that continues to shape how she approaches her work.
As Interim Executive Director, Shannon is focused on ensuring DNDA continues to integrate art, nature, and neighborhood in ways that are meaningful, sustainable, and rooted in community.
