Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and improv comedy unite for Mad Science. Every show we invite special guests to share their real cutting-edge research and stories from the academic front-line for our team of improv comedians to warp, twist, and turn on its head. No laboratory could have synthesized an improv show like this. IRB approved!

Fancy Cafeteria
Combining the glamour of a Broadway production with the dishevelment of improv, Fancy Cafeteria is a hilarious musical experiment that will have you singing for your supper. Based on your suggestions and no preset script or score, the improvisers will perform a brand new musical filled with wistful protagonists, catchy melodies, and spontaneous dance breaks all accompanied by a live soundtrack. You won’t want to miss the opening and closing night of this never-before-seen production.
Gram Worthy
Join Bandit Theater for a toast and a roast of your favorite influencers. You’ve seen these personalities out and about; gramming their brunches, dancing at music festivals, and generally making you feel FOMO. It’s time to take them onstage to have them explain their brand, show off their posts, and explain why they need so much attention. Gram Worthy celebrates and razzes these online personalities and then makes improv comedy based on their interviews.
Swipe Right
An improv show about finding love in the era of online dating! One brave soul from the audience will plug their dating profile into a projector and allow comedians to critique their online presence. Bandit Theater’s improvisers will then weave a set of improv comedy based on the profile and our guest’s best dating stories. You’ll laugh, you’ll judge, you’ll fall in love.
The Reader
Half tarot. Half comedy!
The Reader exists at the intersection of intuition and creativity. Join The Reader for a journey through the soul: a brave audience member shares true stories for a live tarot reading and a mystical cast of improvisers weaves comedic tales from their past, present, and dare we say… future? It’s hilarity on the spiritual plane, it’s The Reader.
