Duwamish Alive! Earth Day Event – CANCELLED

Updated 3.17.20: This event has been cancelled. We hope to celebrate Earth Day in partnership with the Duwamish Alive Coalition in the fall instead.

Come celebrate Duwamish Alive! and the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day! We’ll be commemorating this historic day by working to take care of one of Seattle’s oldest forests — Camp Long! In partnership with EarthCorps and the Duwamish Alive Coalition, volunteers at this event will participate in fun, hands-on conservation work. As usual, our work party will be accompanied by live musicians, bringing the arts and nature together for our enjoyment!

Note: Please register early for this event, as we do expect this event to fill up.

What to Bring: Please dress appropriately with long pants, warm and dry layers, closed-toed shoes and rain gear as needed. We provide gloves, tools, a light granola bar snack (feel free to bring a lunch) and a jug of water. Please bring a refillable water bottle.

What we provide: tools, gloves, training and safety talk, water and granola bars
