Wetland Birds & Birding Seminar

For this workshop, we’re partnering with Seattle Audubon to discuss ways to improve habitat in our yards, the types of native plants that are best for the upcoming spring migration, and also how to monitor migrating birds from: your backyard, the Delridge Wetland Park and around the community! This event is free, everyone is welcome.

About the Wetland Workshops:
The Wetland Workshop Series is a series of community events put on by DNDA in an effort to engage community with the Delridge Wetlands. The Delridge Wetland project is a progressive effort to restore a former Seattle City Light space on 23rd Ave SW and SW Findlay St to improve the value of the space for the community and the environment. The wetland is being re-created for increased community use in addition to acting as a filter to clean the water headed into Longfellow Creek. Our goal for the workshop series is to facilitate a re-introduction between the Delridge community and the Delridge Wetlands, through these free, informative and fun events that connect Delridge and West Seattle with this amazing greenspace.
