Sharing is caring!

The rain was pouring Saturday Sept. 20, but it was no worry for our small group. We took on 900 sq. ft. of second growth Himalayan blackberry. Some in which had been growing up from underneath some coconut husk called coir.

As it got colder and wetter, our morale was boosted by the sweet tunes and hospitable personalities of the Dexter Street Stompers (jug cover band). As they wrapped up, we started on sheet mulching the area we just dug up. We managed to sheet mulch 500 sq.ft. by the end of our day and with just the six of us, we came out on top covering 1400 sq. ft. of work. Good job guys!
