World Dance Party!

Sharing is caring!

This past Friday, DNDA celebrated the kickoff of 2016’s Cultural Events Series at the Delridge Community Center with a WORLD DANCE PARTY! Members of the community gathered to enjoy each other’s company, share a meal, and learn moves from talented and enthusiastic dance instructors, in the styles of West African dance, Eritrean traditional dance, Hula, and Zumba! It was truly wonderful to witness the dancers having the chance to showcase their talents, culture, and passion for the arts and their community. This event wouldn’t have been possible without the help of our series partners, especially the West Seattle Time Bank, Reel Grrls, Southwest Youth and Family Services, and Nature Consortium. We’d also like to give a HUGE thank you to all of our volunteers, who made the room look beautiful and kept up the energy all night! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the series has to offer Delridge!
