Youngstown Welcomes Community of Moms
There are plenty of moms out there feeling the pressure of trying to be everything to everyone. Overwhelmed with work, kids and household tasks; sometimes Mom just needs a little support.
Local moms are finding that support and getting active through West Seattle’s FIT4MOM. They offer two programs, Stroller Strides, where baby accompanies Mom to her workouts in the stroller and Body Back, a results based 8 week program to help Mom be her best self! Both programs are more than just a workout; it’s a community of moms who understand the same struggles and issues and work together to empower each other to stay active, build friendships and have fun doing it!
“We are so excited to be bringing our community of Moms to Youngstown!” says Emily Williams, owner of FIT4MOM West Seattle. “We believe in empowering women, inspiring positive energy and the power of Moms! Our goal is to provide a platform for moms at any stage of motherhood to get fit, support each other and build their Village!
The class meets regularly at Youngstown and you’ll likely see the ladies running around the Youngstown building, doing lunges, wall sits and stair climbs!
This Monday, at Youngstown, FIT4MOM is celebrating their move indoors with a free Stroller Strides class – a preview into their flagship program. The class incorporates strength and cardio training for Mom as well as songs and activities designed to keep baby (and toddler) engaged! Join them at 9:30a for a free one hour workout. Enjoy a discounted registration on classes, enter to win local raffle prizes and most importantly, meet other moms in the community!
