Do you remember the first rock song you ever heard? One of the greatest things about music is its ability to enlighten and enrich our lives. Research has shown the positive benefits of introducing music to children early in their development. Music education is transforming young lives and that’s why Youngstown is happy to welcome Little Wing – a music class where kids can express themselves.
Little Wing provides the most innovative music lessons for preschoolers. With 45-minute sessions once a week Little Wing enriches learning with movement and melodic expression. Infusing games with rock music allows little artists to explore rhythm patterns, tonal processing, and basic music syntax, all while building emotional connections to great music. Confidence emerges through the lessons learned from music, leading children down their own creative journey. And along the way, they learn the values of teamwork and self-awareness. These classes are looking to contribute to the full development of confident, imaginative, young children, who go out and inspire their world.
Musical expression is a universal avenue for unleashing untapped ideas, images, and emotions. Music has that impact and the skills learned can be applied throughout life. The aim of Little Wing is to unearth that potential in the West Seattle community and beyond! Don’t miss an opportunity to inspire kids musically!
