Wind Cave: Aerial Butoh Dance
Inspired by a Lakota Creation myth, Wind Cave is the portal between the natural and spiritual world. This dance explores conception and creation through butoh and aerial dance. This dance wonders how did we begin, where did we come from, why are we here?
Sheri Brown leaps forward from the Wind Cave into her own journey portal between the earthly and the spiritual world. Weaving 12 steps of recovery with 9 steps of the heroines journey, surreal imagery and personal memory, her dance ritual seeks reunion with Self.
The Brittle Sisters Mary Cutrera, Helen Thorsen, Cara Ross Berman Sheri Brown and DAIPANbutoh Collective Present Wind Cave, an evening performance. Choreography by Helen Thorsen, Mary Cutrera, Sheri Brown.
Saturday, September 21st, at 8:00pm and Sunday, September 22nd, at 7:00pm

Now she’s been asked to come to Washington D.C. to testify in a Senate Committee regarding climate change legislation, and in this intersection of science and politics, of politics and the personal, she finds more than just a little is breaking up under the strain of change.
