DNDA’s Nature Consortium program will be hosting a Winter Twig ID and Native Plant Informational Training at Pigeon Point Park. This training is open to any interested community members, GSP forest stewards and our program staff to learn or brush up on winter plant ID skills. We will mainly cover plants that are found and installed in restoration sites around West Seattle. The training will take place along the trails of Pigeon Point. We will also provide lunch, so come and join us for a fun morning learning about plants!

This will be an introductory level training that will touch on wetland plants, soils, and hydrology. We will also cover the best management practices our program follows to keep the wetlands on our restoration sites healthy. We will have food and refreshments provided.
