Beer, Bikes, and Outdoor Movies at Gas Works Park

Sharing is caring!

“Movie-goers will have a chance to win a rare bicycle from the makers of Fat Tire Ale”

Nature Consortium will host the second annual Clips of Faith Beer & Film Tour on Friday, July 27 at Gas Works Park. The tour will bring 10 independent short films to be projected on an outdoor screen, as well as 20 varieties of beer for movie-goers to try. At the end of the night, Nature Consortium will raffle off a one-of-a-kind “Fat Tire Ale” bicycle.

The films to be shown are winners of a national contest centered on themes of adventure, whimsy, and sustainability. The Clips of Faith films embrace many genres, including comedic shorts, animation and environmental documentaries.

Some of the selected films for the 2012 tour include: The Canning Queen of the Desert: Classie Parker, a tale about deep conversations in the kitchen; DamNation, highlighting the controversy over water rights in the west; and Foxy Shazam – Unstoppable, a film entirely created with old school theater trickery, puppeteering and black light.

At the end of the night, movie-goers will have a chance to win a rare bicycle from the makers of Fat Tire Ale, as well as other prizes from Nature Consortium. Raffle tickets are available now at Nature Consortium’s West Seattle office or at the Clips of Faith event while supplies last.

Nature Consortium will also award 10 free raffle tickets to the winner of their Instagram photo contest. Between July 16 and 25, entrants should use the hasttag #fattireseattle on Instagram to post a creative photo that shows their love of beer and/or bikes. The winner will be announced on July 26th.
