Now Hiring: Environmental Engagement Coordinator
We are excited to announce that we’re expanding the staff of our Restoration Program to include an Environmental Engagement Coordinator.
This full-time position includes performing volunteer outreach, recruitment and coordination as well as conducting volunteer-based forest restoration work parties (this work may include invasive plant removal and installing native plants on project sites). Additionally, the position will assist with youth-centered, educational and creative environmental programming that is inspired by, made from or created in nature. The Environmental Engagement Coordinator will assist our Urban Forest Restoration Program and Wetland Stewardship team.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have a college degree. It is preferred that applicants have access to a car, as well as interest in environmental preservation, community engagement, and working with youth. This is a full-time position through AmeriCorps and Washington Service Corps, and will last from October 2018 through August 2019.
