A Night of Fun, Community, and Impact at Destination Delridge Casino Night 2024
This past Saturday, October 5th, we gathered for an evening of celebration at our annual fundraiser, Destination Delridge! The event at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center brought together our vibrant community for a night filled with excitement, games, and generosity. Betting on the Power of Community
One of the evening’s highlights was our silent and live auctions, where attendees bid on various unique items and experiences generously donated by local businesses and supporters. From the All-Star game Jersey signed by the Seattle Storm team to an exclusive private chef experience, there was something for everyone! The live auction was incredible as guests raised their bid cards to support DNDA’s ongoing projects and initiatives – including our exciting plans to expand affordable housing in 2025. We are finalizing our 2025 plans for our $78M project, adding 143 units to our portfolio in partnership with SRM Development and a $1.5M acquisition and rehab project in collaboration with Lotus Development. Further, our Nature team is launching the first water monitoring community science project in Longfellow Creek starting this month!
Thanks to our enthusiastic bidders, we raised significant funds that will go directly toward expanding our programs, maintaining critical community spaces that the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center provides to adults and youth, and continuing our environmental and social justice efforts. We raised a total of over $35,000! Thanks to your support, we’re lighting the way to a brighter, more connected future.
