Join DNDA’s Art and Nature teams for a community day at Roxhill Park. This is an open event to gather the neighborhood for a casual weekend at the park. We will be facilitating drop-in art activities and may lead park beautification activities such as trash pickup.
Pre-registration is not necessary but participants should plan to sign-in upon arrival.
What to bring:
Please dress appropriately with long pants, warm and dry layers, closed-toed shoes and rain gear as needed.
Bring any water you might want
If you have your own pair of work gloves, fee free to bring them. If not, we will have plenty
Signed youth waiver form, if under 18
Volunteer Park Cleanup
You and your fellow volunteers will participate in fun, hands-on conservation work led by staff from DNDA’s Nature Team. Restoration work includes removing invasive plants, planting native species, and mulching new plantings, depending on time of year and the restoration progress in each site.
