Open Canvas Eco Mural Project 2017

The goal of the project was to support youth participation in the arts, build leadership skills through art, explore cultural figures, community, environment, history, and the Seattle landscape, and develop a unique visual vocabulary of images and colors.

Cultural Event Series 2016

The series included showcases of performing arts groups, youth poetry slams, cultural food and social justice events. As a result of this cultural series there has been an increase in collaborative efforts between organizations, residents and a greater awareness of the various cultures and customs that thrive within our community.

Delridge Mural Project 2014

The Delridge Mural Project initially took shape when DNDA staff joined representatives from Southwest Youth and Family Services and the Seattle Police Department to address the rash of gang-related graffiti plaguing South Delridge.

All Access 2008

The mission of the ALL ACCESS After School Arts Project is to empower local youth through sustained, arts-based learning experiences by collaborating to provide the space, people, and resources necessary for youth to flourish in community, creativity and self-expression.

Shout Out 2007

A workshop series empowering youth through the literary arts, with emphasis on: creative writing, spoken word, studio recording, stagecraft, performance.

Show Offs! 2007

Monthly open mic, stage & performance showcase for all youth. Whether you can sing, dance, speak your poetry, or jump through rings of fire, come show it off!
